What is it?

Micro-Enterprises - companies with five or less employees make up 87% of all the businesses in the United States. There are over 26 million of us – half working from home - and over 640,000 new businesses are launched each year. We create nearly 3/4 of all jobs in the market, AND YET more than 56% of us fail in business within five years!

We’re the majority, AND the least understood. Our thinking is quite ‘CRaZy’ to most people – especially those that tell us how to run our enterprises – and our lives.

I’ve been an entrepreneur for over 30 years. I’ve succeeded marvelously and failed miserably, and through it all I’ve asked myself “What, am I nuts?”

Entrepreneurial Schizophrenia ® is a cure for the battle in your head – the war between you, yourself and your boss – the bickering that doesn’t easily go away - even with millions in the bank.

Entrepreneurial Schizophrenia ® is:

  • A downloadable book
  • A network of ‘eccentrics’
  • An audio and video series
  • An online study group
  • A ‘minion’ of peers
  • An awareness and relief

Do You Have It?

Entrepreneurial Schizophrenia® is a condition I believe most enterprising people get ourselves into. Sooner or later, our dreams and ‘passions’ get us into a self-dialog that becomes maddening. We’re self-employed – and we argue with our bosses. We debate, wrestle and eventually second guess what THEY believe – and sure enough, if we share it with normal people, our boss has evidence to convict us of treason.

I wrote this book as a means to help settle the case of ‘eccentric’ vs. ‘lunatic’. The stories are more than entertaining. They will give you eye-opening moments that will change your journey of self-actualization because as our beliefs expand, they mature our attitudes, which lead us to behave in more confident, generous and loving ways.

Fire in the Belly
Dr. Ernesto Sirolli, the world’s leading authority on reversing small business and micro-enterprise mortality rates believes;

"Working with entrepreneurs requires great care, especially because there are no rational explanations or definitions for entrepreneurship. I would like to suggest that entrepreneurship has two components: passion and skill.

Passion is the “fire in the belly,” that all-consuming dedication that is essential to the pursuit of any worthwhile activity. I use the word not in its romantic connotations, but according to the Latin etymology “passio,” meaning “to suffer.” No artistic, social, economic, or sporting success is achieved without total commitment and the ability to endure whatever it takes to fulfill one’s vision.

Passion, however, is not enough. Without the ability to paint, to run, to inspire social change, or to manage a successful business, passion is nothing but wishful thinking and frustration. Skill makes the dream real and transforms passion into good work."

Entrepreneurial Schizophrenia® is a tool for developing skill. It’s a mirror on the enterprising challenge: whether to persevere, or to drop out; to change course again, or to throw in the towel; to listen to your Boss, or to shut them up.

Cheers -  to Passion and Skill!
